What happened to Shapr?
Shapr was a professional networking app, started in 2015 and headquartered in Paris, that suggested a daily batch of profiles to swipe on. It is no longer running. Wikipedia describes it in the past tense and lists it as discontinued; SaaSHub marks its status as "Discontinued". When we checked on October 10, 2026, shapr.co did not load and the app did not appear in a US App Store search.

Who should switch to Meetworth, and who should not
It fits if you used Shapr to meet other founders and owners. The swipe mechanic is the same, and everyone you see runs a verified business.
It does not fit if you used Shapr as an employee looking for mentors, jobs or peers in your profession. Meetworth only accepts business owners, so you would not pass verification. LinkedIn or Meetup will serve you better.
Also know that a Premium subscription is needed for the full experience, that Meetworth is a smaller network than Shapr was at its peak, and that the app is in English only.
