Is There a Founder-Only Networking App That Verifies Its Members?

Meetworth Team· November 5, 2026· 3 min read

Yes. Meetworth is a swipe-to-match networking app for verified entrepreneurs and business owners, closed to the general public. Each member is manually verified: you upload valid business registration proof and an ID to join. It is not invite-only, so anyone who owns a business can apply. It has real limits: a much smaller network than LinkedIn, English only, mobile only, and a paid subscription for the full experience.

What does a verified or vetted founder network actually mean?

The terms are used loosely, so check what a given app really does. Three questions help:

  • Who gets in? Is it anyone who signs up, or only people who prove they run a business?
  • How is that checked? Is it a person reviewing documents, a self-declared profile, or a referral from an existing member?
  • Is the audience limited? A founder-only app should not also serve job seekers, recruiters, or general social use.

Vetting can work through documents, referrals, applications, or paid membership. Each has tradeoffs. Document checks confirm that a business exists. Referrals can add trust but may be harder to join without connections.

How does Meetworth verify its members?

Meetworth uses manual verification. The steps are:

  1. Download the app (free to download).
  2. Apply by uploading business registration proof and an ID.
  3. The team manually checks the submission.
  4. After approval, you can start swiping.

Meetworth also has a "Nominate a founder" feature, where you can vouch for an entrepreneur you know. The site does not describe any automated or instant verification, so do not expect one.

Who is Meetworth for, and who is it not for?

The audience is people who own or run a business. It is a good fit if you want to meet other owners one at a time, for example for partnerships, peer advice, local contacts, or building a circle of owners.

It is not a fit for:

  • Job seekers
  • Recruiters looking for candidates
  • Students without a registered business
  • People who want a public, searchable profile

It is also not a dedicated co-founder matching service, and it does not promise access to investors. If co-founder search is your main goal, see this honest guide to finding a co-founder or business partner.

How does networking work inside the app?

You see one business owner at a time and swipe to show interest. A chat opens only when both sides swipe yes. You can also browse founders as a deck, on a map, or as a list, and use advanced filtering. Other features include 1:1 and group chats, groups, a feed with posts, photos, videos and stories from connections, and username search with connection requests.

For privacy, you can turn off Discoverable in Settings → Privacy to stop appearing in other members' Discover. That screen also has Show on Map, Show in previews, and Blocked Users.

What does it cost?

Meetworth is free to download. A Premium subscription is needed for the full experience, including unlimited swiping and matching, advanced filtering, group chats, the feed, and other networking features. Listed on the US App Store (checked October 10, 2026): $17.99 per month or $89.99 per year. The price shown in the app at purchase is the one that applies.

What are the honest limits?

  • The network is much smaller than LinkedIn's, and Meetworth does not publish a member count.
  • The app is English only.
  • It runs on iPhone (iOS 17.0 or later) and Android. There is no web version.
  • The full experience needs a paid subscription.
  • The App Store age rating is 18+.

How does this compare with LinkedIn and other options?

LinkedIn describes itself as the world's largest professional network, with more than 1 billion members in more than 200 countries and territories. It has searchable public profiles, jobs, recruiting, company pages, advertising, and a web version. It serves a broader purpose than a founder-only app. For a side-by-side view, read Meetworth vs LinkedIn for Founders.

Other founder-focused networks exist, including Founders Network, Hampton, Mybzz, Hyve, Foundsta, and Venet. Their vetting rules, pricing, and formats differ, and we do not describe them here. Check each one's own site for how it admits members and what it costs. For a wider overview, see our networking app comparison.
